Cindy Smith is a 1990 high honors graduate of the University of Montana School of Law.  She received her B.A. in Political Science, with high honors, from the University of Montana in 1987.   In law school Cindy served as an editor of the Montana Law Review and a member of the National Moot Court team.  Cindy is also a 2004 graduate of Trial Lawyers College in Dubois, Wyoming.  

At the start of her legal career, Cindy served as a law clerk to United States District Court Judge Charles C. Lovell.  Since that time, she has developed a practice that focuses on personal injury, insurance claims, employment law and elder law.  

Cindy is the Immediate Past President of the State Bar of Montana and was elected as a Fellow of the American Bar Foundation.  She has also been selected for inclusion on the 2011 Mountain State Super Lawyer list.  Cindy serves on the Montana Supreme Court Equal Justice Task Force, the State Bar of Montana's Ethics and Professionalism Committees, and the University of Montana Law Review Advisory Board.
