Lance is a 1999 graduate of the Gonzaga School of Law and is licensed to practice in Montana State, Federal and Municipal Courts. He is a Montana Trial Lawyer specializing in criminal defense and plaintiff's litigation. He has tried several major cases. Lance has received acquittals in cases of deliberate homicide, assault with a weapon, and drug cases to name a few, but often times his litigation skills have led to dismissals or plea agreements to lesser charges in trial level cases. He has handled multiple deliberate homicide cases and has been recognized by his peers for his tenaciousness as a litigator and his effectiveness in bullying and justified use of force cases. He has also has received large verdicts against companies such as UPS and has settled numerous cases against multimillion dollar corporations and insurance companies, as well as cities and municipalities.
Although he handles a variety of criminal and civil cases, he has a passion for defending the underdog and protecting the injured. While his office is in Missoula, he is willing to travel anywhere in Montana to defend or pursue a claim on behalf of his clients. Lance understands that he and his firm are not only fighting for your rights, but also for the future of your life, family, job and reputation. He will do everything possible to ensure your rights are protected, your interests are safeguarded, and your entitlement to a fair legal proceeding is safeguarded.
Lance believes that no person or child should be subjected to being bullied by any person. If you or your child are being threatened, harassed, or intimidated by a bully. Lance would ask that you call him immediately, as there are many things that can be done to stop bullying.
Lance is a native Montanan, who obtained his undergraduate degree in Finance from the University of Montana. He is a member of the Montana Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers and Montana Trial Lawyers Association. He devotes his free time to his family, friends and the great outdoors.
